The Role:

As the Logistics & Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the marketing and transport of all waste and resource streams for Cores Environment B.V. You will also ensure compliance with laws and regulations and be responsible for the administration that accompanies this. You will work closely with colleagues and have daily contact with clients, buyers, and transporters to optimize logistical processes.

What Will You Do?

  • Coordinating the sales needs: Responsible for identifying the sales needs for each existing waste and product stream.
  • Optimize communication: Ensure optimal communication with clients, buyers, and transporters regarding product specifications and contracts.
  • Make forecasts: Prepare forecasts regarding market and rate development.
  • Cost monitoring: Support monitoring the cost price per waste and product stream in collaboration with the finance department for sales, processing, transport, and storage.
  • Planning: Responsible for the efficient planning of waste and product flows from clients to buyers.
  • Transport procurement: Procure and assign transport for waste and product streams to the right transporters and provide daily guidance.
  • Permits and documentation: Responsible for applying for and managing permits and (export) documents in accordance with legal requirements
  • TFS registration: Prepare notifications, Annex VII forms, including underlying contracts, and registration of shipments with relevant authorities.
  • Relationship management: Responsible for relationship management with existing clients, buyers, and transporters.
  • Customer acquisition: Support customer acquisition through market analysis and lead generation.
  • Management reports: Prepare periodic reports on logistical performance, costs, and transport efficiency.
  • Certifications: Responsible for managing and maintaining various certifications, such as ISCC, PERN, and other relevant licenses.

Responsibilities:

  • Control and administrative processing of national and international waste shipments in our TMS system.
  • Prepare TFS notifications and manage the approval process by proactively communicating with all relevant parties and authorities.
  • Manage TFS documents, including prenotifications and recovery registration, according to laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for optimizing transport processes to improve efficiency and costs of waste flows to buyers.
  • Coordinate and monitor the progress of selling waste and resource streams to clients and buyers.
  • Identify and implement improvements in logistical and operational processes.
  • Ensure compliance and management of certifications such as ISCC and PERN.

Who Are You?

  • You have experience in a logistics or coordinating role, preferably in the waste recycling sector.
  • You can communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with clients and customers
  • You have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with attention to detail and deadlines
  • You thrive in a small team and can handle diverse responsibilities with ease.
  • You are organized and maintain an overview, particularly in logistics and customs processes.
  • You have knowledge of the laws and regulations relating to waste processing and transport.
  • You have a strong interest in the circular economy and sustainability and apply these principles in your work.
  • You are proficient with Office365; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
  • You have experience in data processing and reporting.
  • You quickly familiarize yourself with the systems we use for Transport Management and CRM.
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English; additional languages are a bonus.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education and Level : MBO+ / HBO level.
  • Additional Technical Training : Specialized training in waste management is a plus
  • Specific experience : You have 3 – 5 years of work experience. Experience in Logistics and a strong knowledge of waste management is a plus.
  • Required specific knowledge : Knowledge of (inter)national laws and regulations relating to transport is a plus, but not necessary
