The Role:
As a Backoffice Sales & Logistics professional, you will be the main point of contact for our customers. You will communicate with clients and buyers daily, both by phone and email. What Will You Do?
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers and buyers, both by phone and email.
- Maintain and expand client relationships with a focus on quality and long-term partnerships.
- Optimize logistics processes and identify new commercial opportunities.
- Manage and update client and project information in the Tribe CRM system.
- Support customer acquisition through market analysis and lead generation.
- Prepare quotes and order confirmations for clients.
- Assist with marketing activities, including managing the website and LinkedIn presence.
- Work with various applications, including TransportPlan and Office365 (Word and Excel), for reporting, document management, and analysis.
- Coordinate logistics processes for waste and raw material streams to international buyers.
- Prepare and manage transport and export documents, including TFS documentation..
- Assist with planning and coordinating daily transport for waste and raw material streams.
- Support customs clearance processes and ensure proper handling of documentation and procedures.
- Cover planning and customs clearance tasks during colleagues’ absences.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Maintain daily contact with customers and buyers via phone and email.
- Commercial support: Assist with email campaigns and manage commercial activities.
- Document management: Draft and review transport and export documents, including contracts.
- Transport planning: Support the planning and coordination of waste and raw material transport.
- Customs clearances: Assist with customs procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
Who Are You?
- You have experience in a supporting commercial role, preferably in the waste recycling sector.
- You can communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with clients and customers.
- You have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with attention to detail and deadlines.
- You thrive in a small team and can handle diverse responsibilities with ease.
- You are organized and maintain an overview, particularly in logistics and customs processes.
- You are proficient with Office365; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
- You speak fluent Dutch and English; additional languages are a bonus.
- You are interested in the circular economy and sustainability, sharing the company’s mission.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education and Level : MBO 4 / HBO level in a commercial or international field of study
- Additional Technical Training : Specialized training in waste management is a plus
- Specific experience : You have 3 – 5 years of work experience. Experience in Logistics and a strong knowledge of waste management is a plus.
